Chorus Information
Auditions:
The
Bach Festival Chorus is an auditioned chorus.
Auditions for the 2006 season will be held on November 13
& 20 at 6:00PM at Beymer Memorial United Methodist
Church in Winter Haven. If you would like to audition
please call Gabriel Statom at 863-676-0711 to schedule
an appointment.
NOTE: Please remember that all returning Choral Members
must also audition.
Attendance Policy:
In
order for a musical organization to achieve its artistic
goals, quality rehearsal time together is imperative.
Every member should respect the others in their attendance
habits. Chorus members should miss no more
than three(3) rehearsals. Attendance at dress
rehearsals is mandatory. Attendance at sectional rehearsals
is also required. If a singer is to be absent
from more than three(3) regular rehearsals
he/she must discuss it in advance with the Music
Director in order to continue
participating.
Chorus Dues:
There are no dues to sing in the chorus. However, we
are a 501(c)(3) and your tax-deductible contribution is
always appreciated. Ticket Sales: We are asking chorus
members to be responsible to sell 5 adult tickets to any of
our 3 concerts this season. Tickets are $15/adult and
$5/student.
Performance Attire:
Men
will wear a basic black tuxedo with plain white
shirt, black bow tie, and black dress shoes.
Women will wear ankle-length black skirts and
black dress shoes, and are responsible for
purchasing a concert blouse selected by the
Board. The cost of each blouse is
$59.
Perfume/Cologne:
Please no perfume or cologne at any of the rehearsals or
performances. Some people are allergic.
